Deputy Manager (CQC)
Aviary House, Solihull
Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
Salary £28,050 to £29,708 depending on experience plus brilliant benefits including Health cash plan
Brilliant outcomes through integrated health, housing and care. That’s when it hits home.
You have a chance to be part of something brilliant at Home Group, where clinical interventions work hand in hand with daily support. This means we’re not providing your traditional supported housing services but rather trailblazing the way in delivering brilliant long-term outcomes for vulnerable people through integrated health, housing and care.
Typical day as a Deputy Manager
You will work with a wider team including a Registered Manager, Mental health practice lead, Referral worker, Support coordinators and Support workers.
You’ll lead a support team to ensure that high quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety and great quality of life. You will support customers and their families to transform lives and build independence.
Our customers all have a primary diagnosis of mental health. And are supported by the team at Aviary House to complete their daily living activities and fulfil their aspirations. Whether that is providing some support to a customer to access the community or supporting a customer to fulfil an aspiration such as playing a game of golf.
As the Deputy Manager you will be a compassionate and knowledgeable leader ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, cost-effective person-centred service in line with CQC single assessment framework. Your support team will deliver care to a small group of customers with complex needs delivering support guided by the Registered Manager and Mental health Practice lead.
You will play a key role in monitoring quality and outcomes data with the Registered Manager to evidence compliance and best practice aligned with regulatory requirements.
Fancy going home each day, knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better? You’ll do that here, working for one of the top 10 Great Places to Work in the UK.
A bit about you
You’ll have an excellent understanding of relevant regulatory policies and procedures, including fundamental standard regulations such as NICE guidelines and CQC regulations. You will also have experience of working with individuals with complex presentations and behaviours of concern.
You're used to embedding a culture of strong communication and reflective practice. We will support you to lead, manage and govern your team, assuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will ensure the competence of your team through a process of observation and assessment, coaching, mentoring and directing as required.
You'll support our customers in their own homes; therefore, you'll need to have a current driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work and we'll pay for your mileage.
When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
