Crynodeb

The Role:
• To be responsible for managing “New Orders” including site measuring, liaising with the drawing office, Fabrication, Sales & Project Department.
• Ensuring the client’s needs are met and fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner.
• To continue the company’s good standing and reputation within the industry

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the company meets its customers' expectations with regard to the delivery of service.
• To demonstrate an understanding of BS7036-0 and EN16005, Industry Codes of Practice for risk assessing and installing automatic doors.
• Be able to read drawings and interpret the customer requirements.
• To carry out surveys of what is required, ensuring ‘what has been sold will fit & work,’ while also ensuring it meets with the customers’ expectations.
• To prepare or assist with drawings, create RAMS and Scope of Works.
• To attend any meetings required by the client.
• To attend and instruct any start up meetings with engineers on site.
• To understand what labour & logistics are required to carry out the work.
• To address any issues arising with an “installation” through the Non-Conformance Report Register, Liaise and plan with all other departments to ensure delivery of a project, address with culpable persons, implement procedures and/or corrective action.
• To manage the costs associated with the order placed.
• Offer clear communications & instructions and be responsive to client and colleague requests.
• Follow company procedures and always maintain quality standards and practices.
• Conduct any new tasks that occur because of development of the department's processes and as directed by the Managing Director.

Qualifications & Accreditations:
• Educated to college standards
• EN 16005 & BS 7036-0
• CSCS Card
• SSSTS or SMSTS - Desirable
• IOSH - Desirable

Technical Competencies:
• Strong IT skills with knowledge of a multitude of packages
• CAD, BIM, and Technical Drawing - Desirable
• Experience of Healthcare & Automatic Door Industry
• Understanding of aluminium commercial shop front & low-level curtain wall systems
• Ability to undertake a detailed site survey including measuring
• Understanding Construction & Site conditions & working practices
• Understanding of current Building and DDA regulations
• Knowledge of Risk Assessments & Method statements

Location:
Hybrid – Northampton Office and home based with accessibility to all major road networks. We are looking to employ two candidates, one to cover north of and one to cover south of Northampton.
