Permanent Position
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter/Joiner to join our workshop team.
The role involves working with bespoke joinery, including the use of routers and other precision woodworking tools to fit custom-designed locking systems into tailor-made doors. In addition to contemporary work, you will also be involved in the production of heritage doors and windows, requiring a high standard of craftsmanship and sensitivity to traditional methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture and assemble high-quality bespoke doors and joinery products.
Use routers and jigs to accurately fit a variety of locking systems and hinges to custom specifications.
Work from detailed technical drawings, interpreting and executing complex joinery designs.
Manufacturing heritage windows and doors, using traditional carpentry techniques where required.
Ensure all finished products meet our exacting quality standards
Work collaboratively with other joiners, designers, and installers to ensure smooth project completion.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a carpenter or bench joiner, ideally in a bespoke or heritage setting.
Competence in using routers and other specialist woodworking tools.
Knowledge of fitting multi-point and custom locking systems.
Ability to work with hardwoods and traditional materials.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt techniques to suit individual projects.
Working Monday to Friday - 8am till 4.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
