About the Role
The Housing Apprentice will work across service areas to develop a rounded understanding of the delivery of excellent services to our customers. This opportunity provides hands on experience to learn at the same time as being an active member of our committed team delivering our services day to day. It is an excellent springboard for a career in the housing and property sector.
The postholder will work within the Customer Experience Directorate which is committed to providing the highest possible standard of service to our customers delivering customer services, support and advice. You will act as a positive member of the team, collaborating with other colleagues across departments and supporting a culture that delivers results and service excellence and promotes 54 North Homes' values and brand.
All of our Apprentices are paid the national living wage, and you will be paid for your normal working hours plus remote online specialist training with the opportunity to get real life experiences. You will develop the knowledge and skills required for a career in social housing. Extensive training and ongoing support, coaching and development will be provided. The apprenticeship is for 21 months with the potential for future progression with the company after completion of the apprenticeship.

A positive attitude to be able to succeed both in the workplace and in passing the associated qualification, someone with the ability to set and maintain excellent levels of timekeeping and attendance. Entry Requirements
You will have GCSE's grade 4/C or above or functional skills level 2 in both Maths and English

- Housing Apprentice - 21-month fixed term role
- Salary is £24,242 per annum
- Location: Leeds/York
- 37 Hours per week with agile working
- Generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave, occupational pension, health cash plan, and birthday leave, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
Training information
- Gain professional knowledge and skills whilst studying for Level 3 Housing and Property Management
- Online training provider is Kingdom Academy
- Apprenticeships include spending 20% of working hours off the job activities and specialist training
- Apprentices will be allocated with a Trainer Assessor and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice.
- On the job and off the job training will be delivered in the workplace.
