Job Purpose and work duties
Job purpose:
Part Time Personal Assistant required to support friendly lady with the day-to-day activities enabling her to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets her lifestyle. I go to a craft club every other Monday so would need the P/A to drive me there as I am unable to.
Would like to be encouraged to walk and staying active.
One of my illnesses is having low blood pressure so I need to be encouraged to stay hydrated nt to be prompted to take medication.
Work Duties may include:
Helping with
Life skill support and learning
Social activities within the home and outside in the local community
Shopping for food and other items
Occasional cooking tasks
Supporting
Providing general support and company
Undertaking activities for employer
Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safe
Other requirements
Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
Assisting with management of employers health risks
Establish and maintain effective communication
Maintaining confidentiality
Location
Within the Employers home /SHOPPING/SOCIAL ACTIVITES
Requirements for applicant
Driver
Good sense of humor
Patience
Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
Some experience of providing life skill/learning support
Ability to undertake domestic activities
Flexible, reliable and honest
Good general fitness
