Stromness Swimming Pool

Leisure Assistant

20 hours per week

Permanent

£31,465 - £31,804 pro rata / £16.31 - £16.49 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

A Leisure Assistant is required to assist in carrying out the operational procedures of the Stromness Swimming Pool.

You should have experience in dealing with the public and excellent customer care skills are essential. You will be required to ensure an excellent standard of cleanliness and an awareness of Health and Safety requirements is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a flexible approach to working hours.

You should have a good general standard of education including literacy and numeracy and an HSE First Aid qualification would be an advantage. Other essential qualities include an ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.

This post is subject to Level 1 Disclosure Scotland clearance.
