The PMO Analyst role sits within the change and IT family at the West Brom to acknowledge the increased requirement to control, effectively track and report on the Change Portfolio across ITSS. The purpose of the role is to support the Project Management Office Manager in the governing of the Portfolio and the management of the change delivery frameworks, governance and controls that are used to deliver the Society’s Change Programme.


What the role will look like:

Ownership of governing the change Portfolio within the Society, this includes, tracking Programmes and Projects through their lifecycle, aggregation of Portfolio reporting including project status, RAIDs, resource and dependency management to support Executive and Board briefings
Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior stakeholders from across the society
Management of the change delivery frameworks, this includes regular reviews and development where appropriate. This will include continuous improvement around both the framework, the application of the framework through delivery and any tooling impacts
Support the Portfolio planning process, collaborating with all areas of ITSS to develop and maintain the Portfolio Roadmap. Enabling both the ITSS SLT and ExCo to drive effective decision to maximise the IT investment within the Society
Implement tooling and automation across the PMO to deliver effective data, reporting and processes across the PMO
Ownership of key tasks within the Project Management Office to deliver the Portfolio planning and governance requirements of the Society
Implementing the required changes to ensure that Project Management Office processes are defined and embedded
Support continuous improvement within the Project Management Office team to maximise both the performance and potential of the team and the team members
Improve tooling across the Project Management Office, this will include the development of Monday.com


What you will bring to the role:

Delivery experience within at least one Project Management Office, ideally within a technology division
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior stakeholders
Experience of supporting process change and best practice within a Project Management Office
Good organisational, analysis and problem solving skills
Knowledge of Monday.com or Project Office tooling
Experience and capability to support the development the Project Management Office
