We are looking for an experienced Palliative Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Primary Care Network team. You will be instrumental in developing and shaping this service. The key aim will be to improve identification of patients with palliative and end of life care needs through advanced clinical assessment and multidisciplinary working. We are looking for an individual with a confident and competent clinical and person-centred approach who can utilise their skills and experience to have an impact on increasing access to palliative/end of life care and support for those in the most deprived areas, enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and their carers. In this role, you will collaborate with senior management, nursing staff, multi-disciplinary team members, service users, and colleagues across the Network and Charity. You will demonstrate person-centred leadership, clinical expertise, and effective teamwork to help Marie Curie achieve its goals and improve care delivery. Job Structure : 12 Month Fixed term Contract / 37.5 Hours/Week Shifts : 9:00am 5:00pm Monday to Friday Salary : Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 7 (Aligned with AFC) £47,810 - £54,710 annually (pro-rated) Based : Hybrid Qualifications, training, and education Registered Nurse on NMC register (Adult) Mentorship/ Teaching qualification Working towards a Master of Nursing/ Palliative care An understanding of specific needs of patients approaching end of life and in the terminal phase. IT literate and able to travel as required. Non-Medical prescribing qualification Essential Experience Registered Nurse on NMC Register with a relevant qualification and experience. Experience in caring for patients with palliative care needs.
