What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work:24 Hours Per Week + Bank Hours 0 Hour Contract - Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00
• Improving and maintaining the people we supports mental and physical well-being building self-image and self esteem.
• To aid the people we support to be as independent as possible and lead fulfilling lives in everyday activities such as personal care, behavioural support, health issues and leisure pursuits.
• Monitoring and assessing daily care needs.
• Medication administration record keeping.
• To assist in developing and implementing client-specific programs to help individuals build strong social skills and encourage independence whenever possible.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have a background of working within residential care and experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities.
• Have a caring, dedicated, positive, flexible, committed, forward thinking and approachable personality (essential).
• Be values lead in their approach to care and ability to work across RoCCS residential care homes 24/7 operation.
• Be compassionate, calm and empathetic.
• Have good listening and oral communication skills.
