We’re looking for an experienced Third-Party Claims Handler to join our expanding team in Bolton. If you have a background in Third-Party or Credit Hire claims handling and want to progress in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
You’ll manage your own portfolio of Third-Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage claims, ensuring cases are investigated thoroughly, resolved fairly, and handled with exceptional customer service. You’ll work closely with insurers, solicitors, and accident management companies, using your skills to negotiate, resolve disputes, and spot potential fraud.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of Third-Party claims from start to finish
Investigate liability and manage high-value, complex cases
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to progress claims
Handle liability disputes and work with solicitors where required
Identify fraudulent activity and refer to the appropriate teams
Deliver excellent communication and support to customers throughout the claims process
What You’ll Bring
2+ years’ experience in motor claims handling (for upper salary range)
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively
Confident communication skills – both written and verbal
CII Certificate (or willingness to work towards it – fully funded)
GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
