Job Title: Attendance Assistant-Educational Outreach Officer
Salary: Scale 5 point 12-17 £28,598-£31,022 (FTE) £24,680.18-£26,772.27
(*to be reduced on a pro-rata basis to the actual part-time hours / term-time weeks worked)
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Working Pattern: Term time plus 2 inset days
Contract type: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to the post of Attendance Assistant Educational Outreach Officer.
The successful candidate will join a high achieving and ambitious team in our very popular and over-subscribed school. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative candidate, ideally with a proven track record or future potential to consistently deliver high quality service provision and outcomes for students and families.
The school is a very popular over-subscribed school with year-on-year improving results.
This role will provide the post holder with the opportunity to join a large, vibrant, well established and very successful school, and within it, a very strong and effective pastoral and administrative support team. The successful candidate will also be able to freely access and gain excellent professional development as they progress in their career.
The Attendance Role:
The post involves supporting the Attendance Manager with the responsibility for the support, challenge and administration of effective Attendance systems to support educational engagement in school.
To raise the profile and importance of attendance within the school and community by working to develop procedures and initiatives aimed at raising and maintaining attendance.
To improve and maintain whole school attendance and address and reduce persistent non-attendance to a minimum of national levels.
