Membership Support Executive
Nuffield Health Bridgend & Cwmbran | Customer | Permanent | Part-time
Up to £25,646.40 per annum (pro-rated & dependent on experience)

At Nuffield Health, we're building a healthier nation, and our members are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK's largest healthcare charity, we're driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fitter, healthier, happier life. Do work that matters - for our members and for you
We're looking for a Membership Support Executive to join our friendly and supportive teams at Bridgend and Cwmbran. This role is all about building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and helping members stay motivated and engaged with their health and wellbeing goals.
The Role:
You'll be the friendly voice at the other end of the phone, the problem-solver who turns a cancellation request into a reason to stay, and the detail-focused administrator who keeps our membership records accurate and up to date.
Split across both clubs (based mainly at one, with occasional travel to the other), you'll:
- Proactively contact members who are thinking of leaving to understand their needs and find solutions to keep them engaged.
- Handle cancellation requests with empathy, professionalism, and a "can-do" attitude.
- Keep membership data accurate, processing updates, payments and cancellations efficiently.
- Respond to member queries in person, over the phone or by email - always in a way that reflects our values.
- Work closely with our Multi-Site Customer Experience Manager and front-of-house teams to create a seamless experience for our members.
- Track and report on trends, helping us improve our member retention.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent communication skills - confident, empathetic, and professional in every conversation.
- Experience in a customer-facing or administrative role, with a proven ability to stay organised and accurate.
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities across two clubs.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing needs.
- Flexibility to travel between Bridgend and Cwmbran as needed.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience in fitness, hospitality, or membership-based businesses.
- Familiarity with Gym Manager or similar membership/CRM systems.
Helping you feel good.
We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That's why we've developed a benefits package with you in mind. As a Nuffield Health employee you will enjoy a range of fitness, lifestyle, health and fitness wellbeing rewards such as a free gym membership (plus discounted memberships for family members), access to our private healthcare, 33 days' annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (increasing with length of service), 20% discount at our nurseries, health assessments, retail discounts, pension options and financial wellbeing benefits. You can truly enjoy a whole range of benefits tailored to your lifestyle. At Nuffield Health, we take care of what's important to you.
