About the Job

Unipart is seeking a talented and driven Transport Finance Manager to join our dynamic team! As an experienced finance
professional you'll provide essential financial guidance and support across a diverse portfolio of high-profile contracts.

As a Transport Finance Manager, you'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders and business partners, ensuring robust financial
management. This isn't just about day-to-day operations; you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to exciting ad hoc
projects, playing a key part in our continued evolution.



As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

* Business partner with internal and external Transport stakeholders
* Produce weekly and monthly management accounts for our Transport customers
* Produce meaningful and informative client reporting and insight, including budgets and forecasts
* Work with the operations teams to investigate any variances reported in the packs
* Client and internal ad hoc reporting as and when required
* Transfer weekly and monthly tasks over to the Management Accounts Shared Service team where applicable
* Support month end reporting tasks
* Support and review monthly transactional processes managed through the MASS/FSS team
* Provide finance functional support including assistance with purchase orders and invoice queries
* Fully understand the Transport operations and its processes and the interactions those processes have with the financials, in
order to explain variances and identify risks and opportunities with both commercial and operation teams
* Report on asset controls and audit, additions & disposals
* Prepare and present internal forecasts and budgets, providing full roadmaps with clear understanding of the financials
* Maintain tight financial controls in respect of all contract costs and a number of continuous improvement projects as well as
verification and tracking of any savings and benefit share where applicable
* Understand all of our contracts and any penalties, obligations and liabilities
* Focus on all the cost drivers within Transport and ensure the accuracy of the data and costs being provided
* Raise client invoices ensuring accuracy and all relevant agreed backup is provided to ensure payment on time



About You



We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!

* Qualified accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Experience of working with operational teams, within a business environment
* Excellent planning and organisation skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Pro-active approach to work prioritisation
* Ability to develop, adapt and improve current and new processes and procedures
* Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
