The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for delivering ISS sustainability processes and systems on a major new account, ensuring all objectives are met in line with customer requirements.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver sustainability initiatives from the very start of a high-profile contract.
Job Description
Working within a matrix team structure, you will build and navigate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customer contacts, contractors, service managers, and ISS sustainability advisors.
Your expertise and guidance will be central to driving the programme’s success and embedding sustainability at the heart of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support development of the Sustainability Management System and core documents
Deliver reporting and assurance processes, embedding sustainability in service delivery
Collate site data, assess environmental risks, and conduct site visits
Create training materials and assist in delivering eLearning and webinars
Support meeting and network group actions
Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Broad sustainability background covering waste, biodiversity, carbon reduction and related areas
Proven track record of delivering sustainability initiatives and improvements
Experience in line management and leading teams
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
IEMA qualification or equivalent sustainability accreditation
Confident in reporting, data analysis, and driving measurable outcomes
