The Role
Do you hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence and enjoy working in a varied, hands-on role?
Are you confident operating both an HGV and plant equipment, with the flexibility to travel across the UK and Ireland?

Based at our Solihull depot, you’ll load, deliver, and collect our equipment to and from client sites, local authority roads, national depots, and our own locations. You’ll operate a Class 1 vehicle and plant equipment, often working nights, weekends, and sometimes staying overnight in your vehicle. A fuel card will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect your vehicle from the depot and drive to designated locations across the UK and Ireland
• Load and unload equipment using Telehandler/Forks (full training and licence provided)
• Liaise with site supervisors to confirm road closures before entering sites
• Carry out daily vehicle and plant pre-use checks
• Maintain responsibility for your vehicle and equipment at all times
• Work mainly night shifts with an out-of-hours payment for each
• Work weekends when required and take overnight rests when necessary

The Person
• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) EU licence with no more than three penalty points
• Experienced wagon and drag driver
• Valid Driver Qualification Card
• Confident in loading, securing, and unloading loads
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel nationwide (including ROI)
• Telehandler/Forks experience desirable but full training provided
