Hiregiant are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join the team in Avonmouth, Bristol. You will be working for one of Bristol’s leading suppliers in the Southwest in a friendly atmosphere with a helpful team.
Working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00. A typical day involves using the computer to check orders and invoices. You will also be required to assist loading and unloading vehicles, this could by hand or using the Counterbalance Forklift truck, so you need to be prepared to do either. You will also be required to complete general warehouse duties, picking, packing while keeping the workspace tidy and safe.
Some heavy lifting can be involved, and you will also need a good understanding of health and safety.
This is a great opportunity for a permanent position working with an excellent company.
Hours and Pay
• Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. With an hour for lunch.
• Pay is £12.50 to £13.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Optional overtime available on evenings and some Saturdays.
• Overtime pay is £18.75 to £19.50 per hour.
• This is a permanent role, working directly with the company (not agency)
Requirements
• Previous Warehouse or FLT experience.
• A valid FLT licence is required, however an inhouse licence can be accepted.
• Able to complete heavy lifting when required.
• Positive attitude.
• Safety boots and high viz.
• An understanding of health and safety.
