An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join a well-established company based in Newburn.

They have the combined experience of over 80 years in the automotive industry and their mission is to carry out MOTs, motor vehicle & LCV servicing and repairs to approved standards as well as delivering unbeatable customer service every time.

About the Role:
Their Vehicle Technicians carry out diagnosis while undertaking a wide range of servicing and repair work on customer vehicles. As a Vehicle Technician you will ensure effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of customer vehicles while building long lasting and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
All Vehicle Technicians are responsible for accurately completing repair and service records as well as any other appropriate activities and supporting company policy and best practice. You will analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed to.
It is preferred that the candidate is an MOT tester, but essential that the candidate is fully trained and qualified as a Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and hold a full valid driving licence.
You must be skilled and experience to the level that you can work unsupervised in carrying out servicing and repairs whilst maintaining the highest of quality control standards.

• Closed every bank holiday weekend and from Christmas to New Year
• Starting bonus and of overtime available
• Variety of work
• Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30, 30 min lunch
• Saturday 08:00 – 12:30, this is overtime paid at time and a half and will be on rota
