About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Ganger Plant Operative to join our Cambrian Team in Scotland. This role involves
supervising and working alongside a small team on crushing and civil engineering projects.

This is a practical site-based position. You will be expected to travel across Scotland with overnight stays required depending on
site location. In return, we offer excellent lodge allowances for working away from home, along with the opportunity to manage
impactful schemes and further your career within a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Lead and manage the daily operations of the Crushing Team, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a
high standard.
* Work closely with the Crushing Foreman to ensure activities align with project timelines and objectives.
* Operate plant machinery including loading shovels or excavators to load the crusher.
* Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
* Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out in line with site protocols.
* Promote a culture of responsibility, care, and respect for all tools, machinery, and team members.
* Provide guidance and support to Plant Operatives and Site Operatives.
* Encourage high standards of performance and team collaboration while actively mentoring less experienced colleagues.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in operating plant machinery, including loading shovels, excavators, crushers, and screeners.
* Previous hands-on supervisory experience in a crushing or civil engineering setting is essential.
* Experience with concrete batching is desirable. Candidates with this background may be considered for roles on windfarm
projects, where they would manage the batching process and oversee the operation of concrete plants.

Benefits include:

* Competitive starting salary.
* Company contributing pension scheme (eligibility applies).
* Competitive travel and subsistence allowances whilst attending site.
* Ongoing professional development and training.
* Company vehicle (eligibility applies).
