Are you a qualified or aspiring Otago Falls Prevention Instructor looking for a new way to make a difference in Cheshire East? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for enthusiastic Otago Falls Prevention Instructors to join our existing team to deliver both in-person group and remote classes across Cheshire East as part of the One You contract. We’ve two part time roles and casual opportunities available.
Otago Falls Prevention Instructors support people who have fallen or have poor balance and mobility, instructing them on correct, safe techniques, implementing evidence-based exercises and motivating them to remain independent.
As an Otago Falls Prevention Instructor you’ll be providing expert, in-person and remote group exercise classes to a high standard, supporting our members to improve their wellbeing and take part in class exercise in a safe and fun way - improving balance, strength and co-ordination.
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to improve lives, so if this sounds like you, get in touch! Plus if you’re keen to develop further and deliver a wider programme, there’s the potential to also deliver Move It or Lose It sessions in the future.
Whilst priority will be given to qualified applicants (you’ll need the Otago or PSI qualification) for the two part time positions, we’re also keen to hear from aspiring instructors so we can continue to grow our team! You’ll need a level 2 qualification in Health & Fitness (and ideally Level 3 GP referral too but that’s not essential) to qualify for our aspiring pathway.
Location: Cheshire East
Salary: Grade F (£25,203 - 26,989 per annum, full time equivalent)
Hours: 37 hours available across 2 part time positions
