About The Venue

The Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to grow their culinary career in a supportive and creative environment. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain our excellent standards.



Key Responsibilities

-Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes to a consistently high standard.
-Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development and daily specials.
-Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are maintained.
-Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
-Supervise and train junior kitchen staff when required.
-Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

About You

-Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally at Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level.
-Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of seasonal and local ingredients is a plus.
-Strong teamwork and communication skills.
-Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
-Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery) are desirable but not essential.
