Summary
We are looking for a personal assistant to provide after school support for our 15-year-old son who has learning difficulties. The post involves taking him out in the community to places of interest. He enjoys playing golf, driving range, going out to quiet cafes, baking and enjoys listening to music.
The support would be for six hours every Friday from 12pm after school. The PA would need to pick up our son from school when it finishes at around 12.30pm at Pinewood School in Blackburn. During holiday time, support would be provided from 12pm from the family home in Whitburn.
Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.
Person specification:
We are looking for someone who is honest and reliable.
The applicant must be PVG registered.
The post is for someone to take our son out in the community to places of interest, so the successful applicant would preferably have their own transport.
