We are looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive Support Worker to join our friendly education team in the heart of Reading. This rewarding role involves supporting students with their coursework, including those with additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What you’ll do:
• Provide tailored academic and practical support to individual students and small groups
• Assist with understanding and completing coursework
• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to meet students’ needs
What we’re looking for:
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs
• Experience in education or working with individuals with additional needs is an advantage, but not essential
