We are looking for a fully baptised Sikh Kirtan Jatha (1 main and 2 sides) to support the activities of our Sikh Gurdwara in the UK by conducting religious work filling non-pastoral placements, for up to 2 years.
The skilled baptised Kirtan Jatha, will be performing religious work in a non-pastoral role with the same duties and responsibilities to the congregation in the UK as overseas (as applicable) of singing Gurbani and being proficient in the musical instruments (Tabla, Harmonium, etc) which accompany the performing of the kirtan without leading the congregation and without doing any pastoral work.
The Kirtan Jatha will each receive pay and conditions at least equal to those given to settled workers in the same role.
The living and food expenses for each of the 3 members of the Kirtan Jatha will be paid for by the Gurdwara as per Sikh tradition and custom for the duration of the visa (as applicable).
