Crynodeb
To contribute to the development of an effective, locality based mental health provision for children and young people with persistent and complex mental health problems including children with mild to moderate learning difficulties, in partnership with the CAMHS multi disciplinary teams. To contribute to the development of nurse led clinics. To increase the awareness of the needs of this client group through the sharing of clinical knowledge and expertise using a model of consultation /liaison/ teaching/ training for professionals. To assess current services available for families within the North Tynesidearea, to identify any gaps in service provision and to help develop services to meet the needs of this client group.
