Looking for a job with flexibility? Our client in Newmarket, Suffolk, is seeking motivated General Operatives to join their busy fruit warehouse. No previous experience is necessary – full training will be provided. Become part of a supportive and growing team today.
Position Overview:
Job Title: General Operatives – Warehouse Sorters/Packers
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk – CB8
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time (day shifts)
Shift Times: Weekdays – 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the option of longer shifts (up to 12 hours) during busy periods. Weekend work also available (Saturday & Sunday).
Pay Rates: Weekdays (Mon–Fri, day): £12.21 per hour | Weekends & Overtime (after 4:00 PM): £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Sorting and organising products accurately
• Packing fruit in line with company guidelines
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Following all site health and safety rules
Requirement:
• No experience required – full training provided
• Flexibility to work longer hours and weekends when needed
• Local applicants preferred – own transport is an advantage due to location
• Good attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and positive team members
• Able to work well both with others and independently
