Are you a driven, results-oriented sales professional looking to make your mark in the telecoms industry?
Our client is the North East’s Premier Supplier of Business Telephone Systems & Cloud Telephony, and they’re looking for a talented Field Sales Executive to join their growing team.
This role focuses on generating new business opportunities across their full portfolio of telecoms solutions, including Hosted Telephone Systems, Unified Comms, Structured Cabling, SIP, VoIP, Connectivity, and Business Mobile contracts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospects within a defined market, sector, or region, securing qualified meetings, and driving revenue growth in line with company targets.
Inbound leads will be made available to support their success, alongside their own outbound efforts.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Proven experience in B2B field sales (ideally within telecoms or IT)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Confidence using multiple outreach channels, including phone, email, and social media
• A full UK driving licence
What will your role look like?
• Secure a minimum of 4 qualified appointments per week with net new prospects
• Develop and execute a strategic plan for targeting your assigned market, sector, or region
• Build and maintain accurate suspect/prospect lists
• Maintain a detailed and up-to-date sales pipeline and provide ad hoc reporting as required
• Proactively engage with prospects through multiple channels:
• Telephone
• Email
• Social media
• Maintain a pipeline with a minimum 5:1 opportunity-to-target ratio
• Promote the full range of company products and services
• Follow up on referrals and inbound leads provided
• Collaborate with product specialists and pre-sales teams to support complex opportunities
• Continuously develop product and market knowledge
• Identify key decision-makers and understand the buying process, ensuring director-level engagement where appropriate
• Represent the company professionally at all times
What can you expect in return?
• Up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• £450 monthly car allowance plus 17.5p per mile for business travel
• 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
