More detail about the role You will be a BACP, or equivalent, Accredited Practitioner with substantial experience of a wide range of clients and time-limited work along with training and experience in CBT and specialist areas. It is preferable that you have sound knowledge and experience of work-place counselling, related research and the challenges and ethical dilemmas present in this area of work. Supported by a team of experienced counsellors, the day to day management and delivery of the service requires working across sites and both face to face and remotely via online or telephone working. Personal time management, ongoing development is essential along with continuing professional development goals and aims. Main duties of the job To manage and deliver a comprehensive staff counselling and support service to Trust staff and other organisations at all levels. This includes assessment, counselling, training, group work, facilitation and case management. To develop the service and be flexible to changing demands in the service. To promote the service across the Trust and work with the health and wellbeing team to deliver a comprehensive health and wellbeing service. To maintain your own continuing professional development and supervision requirements. To contribute to maintaining and developing relevant Trust policies. To work confidentially, collaboratively and sensitively with managers and staff with highly sensitive personal information. Working Pattern: 15 hours per week.
