More detail about the role This post provides a unique opportunity to join the pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be embedded into the Exeter Pharmaceutical Services (EPS) licensed Assembly unit team. The Assembly unit provides pre-packed patient TTO (To Take Out) medication packs both to the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and other hospitals in the South of England, the Midlands and Wales. As part of the EPS team you will manage the day to day provision of the EPS service to our customers. As a key member of the Trust, youll be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients when they need it most. For more information on the Job Description please view the attachment linked to the advert. More detail about the role We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of our EPS team. As a Production Manager the postholder will be a key member of the EPS team providing day to day management of EPS Assistant Technical Officers (ATOs) and Senior Technical Assistant (SATOs). You will be a Registered Science Manufacturing Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician with a current sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Distribution Practice requirements. You will be an excellent communicator interacting with the EPS and wider Pharmacy teams, EPS suppliers and customers. You must be highly self-motivated, able to demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to plan and work, both independently and as part of the EPS team, to deliver an excellent pharmaceutical service to our customers. You will have excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to perform pre and post process checks on batches of TTO medication packs. This role provides extensive opportunities to develop within a specialist role in a supportive environment with comprehensive training.
