An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, small animal first opinion and referral practice in Dudley, where clinical excellence meets a genuinely friendly, supportive team culture. With a veterinary team of 16 highly skilled professionals – including 7 Certificate holders and another 6 Vets currently studying in areas such as cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery – this is the perfect place to elevate your skills and career.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities, including CT scanning, a fully equipped dental suite (with dental training available), and 12 operating theatres. Their size, insured client base, and varied caseload mean you’ll be able to work to your strengths while expanding into new areas, supported by a strong focus on continued professional development. If you’re pursuing or considering a Certificate, they’ll support you both financially and clinically, ensuring you have the time, guidance, and cases you need to succeed.
You’ll be working alongside a fantastic team of experienced nurses and PCAs, including an overnight nursing team who help ensure continuity of patient care. You’ll also have opportunities to collaborate with referral centres for further professional development and exposure to complex cases. Whether it’s consultations, surgery, or dentistry, you’ll have the facilities, caseload, and team support to thrive.

• Full time position
• 1:10 weekends & 1:5 Saturday with time back in lieu
