Location: Wakefield College, with a willingness to travel to and work from Selby College and Castleford College as required.
Salary: £24,918 to £26,435 per annum
Fixed Term: 2 years
The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Marketing Assistant to join our effective team of marketing and design professionals.
We are responsible for promoting the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group and our three Colleges to potential students and other key stakeholders across our districts, and beyond.
From advertising campaigns to social media, digital platforms to events – we work across the full marketing mix and are involved with a wide range of exciting projects.
The Team
We have a great team, working across all specialisms in Marketing – no two days are the same. We’re seeking an enthusiastic, high performing individual who’ll add another dimension and perspective.
The Role
As Marketing Assistant, you will support the team in the planning and implementation of events, the production of promotional literature and developing targeted data-driven campaigns to promote all of our Colleges and course types.
As an Apprentice Marketing Assistant, you should:
Hold GCSE grade A* C / 9 – 4 in English or equivalent
Hold GCSE grade A* C / 9 – 4 in Maths or equivalent
Have a commitment to undertake the apprenticeship training to gain a level 3 or 4 (dependent on prior qualifications) qualification in marketing
You should also be able to demonstrate:
Excellent communication skills
High levels of accuracy
A commitment to providing a quality service
