Working hours: 37 hours per week with the occasional evening shifts when required.
Locations: You will work across 3 hubs in Bradford and Keighley, Unity House BD1 3DN, Pelican House BD1 5BA and Temple Street BD21 2AD
Full UK Driving Licence preferred as travel across different sites is required for the role.
About the role...
We have an exciting role as a Health and Wellbeing Nurse here at New Vision Bradford, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing good clinical practice. Waythrough’s clinical teams are supported by a multi-disciplinary Clinical Department. Regular clinical supervision, appraisal, and support with revalidation are available, as well as generous CPD time and annual leave. NMC fees paid. Please be advised there will be travel required across different sites in the region
About you...
Are you a registered general or psychiatric nurse with a passion for making a difference in the field of substance misuse? While experience in substance misuse is advantageous, your core qualifications and skills are what truly matter. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following attributes:
Registered Nurse: You are a dedicated and registered nurse, either as a general nurse or psychiatric nurse, with the qualifications and commitment to provide exceptional care.
Clinical Expertise: You have experience in assessing clients to meet healthcare, clinical, and psychosocial needs, including addressing issues related to Blood-Borne Viruses (BBV). Your clinical knowledge is a foundation for providing high-quality care.
Health Promotion and Harm Reduction: You bring experience in health promotion and harm reduction interventions. Your ability to provide advice and information plays a crucial role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery.

Bringing together two big organisations is not a small task and it’ll take a while to fully integrate our systems, processes and approaches. That’s why you will notice the jobs here are still branded ‘Humankind’. Next year we’ll be fully integrating our recruitment systems but for now they are separate.
