Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionateandnbsp;Rough Sleeping Support Workerandnbsp;to join our Housing Options Team on a fixed-term basis.
In this vital role, you will support individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, helping them access accommodation and maintain tenancies. You will work directly with clients in the community, including through outreach and street counts, and collaborate with local services to provide tailored support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to thoseandnbsp;rough sleepingandnbsp;and those at risk of homelessness
Carry out outreach work, including street sweeps and rough sleeper counts
Support clients in temporary and permanent accommodation
Coordinate with housing providers, social care, and mental health services
Help clientsandnbsp;follow Personalised Housing Plans
Respond to emergencies and work flexibly, including some out-of-hours work
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
At least 12 monthsandrsquo; experience in housing, homelessness, or support services
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with vulnerable adults and partner agencies
Commitment to equality, safeguarding, and excellent customer service
