Electrical & Mechanical Improvers – 4 on, 4 off (Days Only)
Location: Moorgate, London
Environment: Prestigious Commercial Office
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – Days only
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 + Overtime + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for 1 Electrical Improver and 1 Mechanical Improver to join the on-site maintenance team at a high-end commercial office building in Moorgate, London. These are excellent opportunities to further develop your skills in a professional and well-supported environment.

Electrical Improver – Key Responsibilities:

- Support with electrical PPM and reactive maintenance

- Lamp replacements, fault finding, and basic repairs

- Assist with tenant requests and small works

- Ensure compliance with H&S and site procedures

Mechanical Improver – Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with mechanical systems including HVAC, pumps, valves, and pipework

- Support planned maintenance and reactive repairs

- Carry out basic mechanical inspections and tasks

- Work alongside the engineering team on tenant call-outs

✅ Requirements (for both roles):

- Level 2 Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline (City & Guilds or equivalent)

- Previous experience in a commercial building environment preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and progress within the FM industry

- Basic understanding of building systems and maintenance duties
