Would you like to be part of a small and highly specialised service which is committed to supporting individuals with every aspect of their life?
Would you like to work with amazing people to enable them to live as independently as possible in their community?
We are looking for experienced support workers in the local area of Nottingham, NG5 area.
We support people living in their homes or community with autism, epilepsy and behaviour which can be described as challenging.
If you are dedicated to working and supporting individuals in their everyday living, encouraging their independence, promoting healthy choices from walking in the park or having tea and cake we want to hear from you.
This is a hands-on job in which no two days are the same. Your duties could include:
• Promoting my independence
• Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out
• Arranging activities in the home and in the local community
• Developing individuals’ life skills and personal interests
• Assisting with healthy lifestyle choices
• Helping with personal care needs
• Manual handling
• Supporting medication
• Ensuring record keeping is always maintained to the required standard and contributing to service monitoring requirements

To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
This is an ongoing opportunity.
Your typical hours will start at 07.00. and finish at 14.00 or from 14.00 and finish at 22.00 Monday to Friday
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
