Join us as an IT OT Technician and help protect and optimise the technology that powers our operations.
As our IT OT Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting the security, continuity, and performance of Cadent’s IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems. Working across critical infrastructure and control room environments, you’ll help manage assets, support cyber resilience, and ensure our platforms are secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.
This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role where your technical insight, curiosity, and commitment to service will help safeguard the systems that keep our gas network running.

What you'll bring:
- Degree-level education in any discipline.
- SCO certification at CP/AE level (Permitry, RO, NRO).
- ITIL Foundation qualification (minimum).
- Understanding of IT/OT systems, engineering processes, and cyber security principles.
- Experience with technologies such as CCTV, PLCs, field devices, and network implementation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and progressing into a high-level IT/OT engineering role.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into business language.
