Randstad Student Support seeks a dedicated Mental Health Specialist Mentor to provide individualized support to neurodiverse learners at University Of East London. Tasks
* Develop and implement personalized support plans.* Provide mental health guidance and counseling.* Collaborate with university support staff.* Guide students through academic and personal challenges.* Maintain accurate and confidential student records.* Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement.* Stay updated on best practices in mental health support for neurodiverse individuals.* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Skills
* Relevant professional body registration (BACP, BPS, HCPC, etc.).* Proven experience supporting students' mental health needs.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Bachelor's degree (advantageous).* Strong organizational and time-management skills.* Experience working/supporting students with special needs. * Proficiency in counseling and mentoring.* Knowledge of mental health support for neurodiverse individuals and student support services.
