Position description / Job description

  • Develop and implement personalized study plans for neurodiverse students.
  • Deliver engaging and effective study skills instruction.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring.
  • Collaborate effectively with university staff.
  • Track student progress and adapt plans as needed.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Expectations / Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • Postgraduate qualification and a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, AFHEA or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of neurodiverse needs.
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to person-centered care.
  • Willingness to complete NAS training modules (support provided).
