We are working with a SEMH School based in Chigwell who are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
The role is to start in September 2025 and the school caters for primary aged students 4-11 years old, who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health Challenges.
Where this is a Special Needs School- class sizes are 4-7 pupils, supported by several SEND Teaching Assistants.
This school is Ofsted Outstanding- hosts fantastic facilities. Students behaviour is generally positive where learning is seen as a priority.
If you are seeking a new full time Higher Level Teaching Assistant, then please read on.
The role will entail PPA cover in a range of different EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes. Planning and work will be left and the role will be picking it up and delivering to the students.
You do not need to have a HLTA certificate to be considered for thi role however you do need to have some previous teaching or tutoring experience.
Knowledge of the primary sector is imperative and a passion for working with students with SEND needs.
