Job Title: English Teacher (KS3 / KS4)
Area: West Drayton, Hillingdon
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (Temp to Perm)
Salary: £170 - £260 per day (depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Interview: Video interview ASAP for the first stage

Brief description:
Teach English to KS3/KS4 students in a specialist alternative provision setting

Must have full UK License & Transport. As will be expected to travel to students house for outreach lessons.

About the school:
A specialist alternative provision supporting students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs and those unable to access mainstream education. Small class sizes and strong pastoral focus.

About the role:
Deliver the English curriculum to students with varied academic levels. Plan engaging, inclusive lessons. Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 English, including GCSE preparation
- Differentiate lessons to meet individual needs
- Support students' emotional and academic development
- Uphold behaviour and safeguarding policies

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- SEN or SEMH teaching experience (desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
