I’m looking for a kind and reliable female personal assistant to provide companionship, personal care and light support to my wife, who has mobility difficulties following a stroke. She uses a tripod stick and a wheelchair.
The role involves attending regular group sessions, supporting with occasional appointments, assisting with personal care needs including continence care, and providing company on Saturdays when I’m away visiting friends.
Typical Shifts:
Thursday: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
You’ll provide support while she attends group or one-to-one activities.
Saturday: Approximately 4–5 hours
You’ll offer companionship at home while I am out.
Other duties may include:
Occasional appointment support
Light assistance as needed during outings
Personal care as required
Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR):
Due to the personal and intimate nature of some aspects of the support required, it is a genuine occupational requirement that the personal assistant be female.
Note: The posts are subject to a PVG Scheme membership check, and if you are not a member, you will be asked to join before any formal offer could be made.
