SEND Lawyer (REMOTE/HYBRID) needed in Gloucester, £43.12ph PAYE - Reference: 5274030
This role can be 100% remote. The exact working days and times can be discussed and agreed as part of the interview process - ideally though we do want candidates that would be prepared to work on at least one of the trickier Monday/Friday days.
As a member of the Legal Team, to provide high quality legal services in the areas of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Law and Education Law.
• Be a lead in providing high quality legal services in the areas of Special Educational Needs law.
• An ability to acquire and maintain knowledge in relation to Education law.
• Undertake advocacy and represent the Client in the Court arena.
• To represent Legal Services, the Client and external clients in meetings, including committee and member meetings, inquiries and working groups and in discussions with other legal practitioners at an appropriate level as and when required
• Contribute to the development and delivery of legal services.
• Exhibit the employee behaviours as indicated in the Client’s People Strategy.
• Support the Principal Lawyer and Legal Services Business Partner in the management of the team.
• Ability to deal with sensitive issues with tact and confidentially.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
