Crynodeb
This is an ideal opportunity for a therapy assistant or health care assistant with a passion for respiratory, who is proactive, self-motivated and keen to be at the forefront of delivering high quality care, to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Specialist Respiratory Practitioners in providing support and care for patients with Respiratory disease in the community, pulmonary rehabilitation and in patient setting. The integrated team is working in many innovative and exciting ways to improve quality of life for people with respiratory disease. The Respiratory team works within the community setting and includes Asthma, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and a home oxygen service. The service has implemented a "hospital at home" service, where more complex and intensive support is provided in the patients own home as an alternative to acute care for COPD exacerbation management. This service also supports early discharge from hospital.
