We manufacture award-winning vanilla bean paste and vanilla extracts, our pods are sourced directly from Madagascar. Our range is stocked in iconic stores like Selfridges, Lakeland, and Booths.
As a BRCGS Food-certified business, we uphold the highest standards of food safety and excellence, supplying manufacturers, specialist retailers, and food service providers across the UK and internationally.

About the Role
As a Food Production Operative, you'll be a key part of our day-to-day operations, helping ensure our vanilla products meet the impeccable standards our customers have come to expect.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Supporting daily production processes
Manufacturing, bottling, pouch filling, labelling and packaging of vanilla products
Follow detailed recipes and instructions to manufacture our products to the high standard we expect
Communicate effectively with other departments to order and manage raw materials
Set up & monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become a problem
Lift and handle raw materials weighing up to 20kg
Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and order in the production area & throughout the premises
Assisting with stock management
Participating in quality assurance and technical checks
Occasionally representing Vanilla Etc at trade shows and exhibitions
Willingness to adapt and take on a variety of tasks as needed
About You
You should be:
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Genuinely hardworking with a positive, team-first mindset
• Someone who takes pride in doing things properly—cutting corners isn't your style
• Comfortable switching between tasks. Due to the nature and size of our operations you will be required to work both in and out of production and adapt as necessary
• Physically capable
• Willingness to strictly adhere to safety and hygiene regulations
Essential Skills:
• Strong computer literacy (our traceability system is digital)
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
• Ability to understand and follow technical information and food safety protocols
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar role
• Knowledge of BRCGS or SALSA food safety standards
