Maintenance Engineer

Coleshill

Permanent Late Shift

Experience Dependent

Our client are a global name in engineering and manufacturing and are looking to add to their maintenance team at their Coleshill site. The role will be working on a permanent late shift (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer

• Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.
• Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
• Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
• Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process

Qualification/Experience – Maintenance Engineer

• Time served/Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of maintenance activities with the use of CMMS systems. Also experience in data analysis through such systems to focus activities for greater results.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word. PowerPoint etc
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings to support manufacturing and machine improvements.
• Successful candidate will display good communication skills at all levels within the business.
• Manufacturing background with ideal experience being within conduit production machinery.
• Machining experience in a maintenance setting using tooling such as Lathes, Milling, grinding, drilling, welding etc.
• Understanding of conduit system products.
