We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic casual support workers, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. You will make a difference to the quality of a person&©s life by supporting them with their daily living activities.
This can include intimate personal care including showering/bathing, dressing or undressing, assisting with toileting etc. It will also include administering medication, supporting with meal preparation, and participating in leisure activities to enable individuals to get the most from their daily life.
You will have an understanding of the importance of social inclusion, promoting independence and enabling positive life choices.
If you have experience of working in a care setting or provided informal care and support to family or friends then we would love to hear from you. You must understand that a person is at the centre of the care and have a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
For further information about the post please contact Natalie Utley or the Supported Living Service Team on 01924 302680.
