Crynodeb
We’re on the lookout for a personal assistant for our 12-year-old daughter who has cerebral palsy and who is neurodivergent.
Five hours per week but flexible and we usually need more support in holiday time than term time.
£12.60 per hour.
Ideally it will suit someone who can drive. We are in St Agnes.
The candidate will support her in learning independence and social awareness and in accessing social and leisure activities. She is a very intelligent girl who likes to be out and about trying different foods and shopping for books. She is up for any adventure when she has the right person supporting her.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
Please apply by emailing a copy of your CV and quoting the reference code CTDP/1167 to: cypdirectpayments@cornwall.gov.uk
