Job Title: Area Operations Supervisor

Pay rate: £14.13 per hour PAYE
Working Arrangement: 4 x 4 shifts working alternate 6am to 5pm and 11am to 10pm. Expected to work unsocial hours and weekends as part of a 4x4 shift rota.
Additional requirements: Driving Licence
The role:
You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and respond to environmental issues.
Supporting the Area Operations Manager, you will supervise a small team of Street Cleansing Ambassadors and a Mechanical Sweeper Driver, and work closely with Gardeners, Wardens, Enforcement Officers, and more to ensure litter picking, waste removal and low level gardening is carried out.
Key responsibilities:
Day-to-day supervision, motivation, and development of cleansing staff
Deployment and control of vehicles, equipment, and materials
Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and health & safety
What the client is looking for:
NQF Level 2 or equivalent
Driving Licence
Experience of supervising and motivating staff
Experience of deputising for a senior officer
Experience of organising daily workloads
Experience of applying a knowledge of Health & Safety, risk assessment and working procedures
Experience of dealing with other colleagues and members of the public
Responsibility for onsite security
Semi-skilled gardening experience
