Essential:
• Proven experience in estates or facilities management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance
• Experience in managing contractors and external suppliers
• Proficiency in budget planning and cost control
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Strong IT skills, including use of estates or facilities software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
Desirable:
• Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 or equivalent)
• Experience working in the education sector
• Understanding of Church school settings and ethos
• Familiarity with Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) or other public sector funding mechanisms
Additional Requirements:
• Empathy with the vision and values of the Church of England and the Diocese of Leeds
• Willingness to travel across North and West Yorkshire
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
