Are you a compassionate educator with a deep commitment to inclusive learning?

We are seeking Specialist SEN Teachers who are passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for children and young people with a wide range of additional needs. This role involves delivering bespoke, one-to-one teaching that supports learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Sensory and Emotional Developmental Difficulties (SEMD), and complex medical conditions.

Your Impactful Role Will Include:

  • Creating Therapeutic Learning Environments: Establish safe, predictable spaces that reduce anxiety and promote emotional regulation.
  • Designing Individualised Learning Pathways: Craft and deliver tailored educational programmes that reflect each learner's EHCP, strengths, and barriers to learning.
  • Building Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support and continuity of care.
  • Fostering Emotional and Academic Growth: Use trauma-informed and neurodiverse-friendly approaches to build confidence, resilience, and a love for learning.
  • Modelling Positive Behaviour and Communication: Support learners in developing social skills, emotional literacy, and self-advocacy through consistent, empathetic guidance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, QTLS)
  • Minimum of two years' experience in SEN or inclusive education settings
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, with ability to differentiate across Maths, English, and Science
  • Experience supporting learners across Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Proven ability to work with children with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, trauma, and medical vulnerabilities
