Summary
We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Learning Disability Support Worker to join our homecare team in Surrey.
In this vital role, you’ll provide one-on-one support to individuals with learning disabilities in their own homes, helping them live independently and safely while maintaining their dignity and choice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver person-centred care and support in the individual's home
• Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household routines
• Promote independence, life skills, and community involvement
• Build trusting relationships and offer emotional support
What We’re Looking For:
• A kind, patient, and respectful approach
• Strong communication and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team
• Previous experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities
• Flexibility for shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and possibly sleep-ins
